New man at Evangel
I guess you can't really blame Ronnie Alexander for leaving the head coaching position with Evangel football. As he goes into the construction business, he has put himself in a position to finally secure himself for his later years.
For Evangel it marks a third coach in three years with John Bachman Sr. taking over.
It's probably not that big of a deal to the players since the systems will stay pretty much the same. But you do have to wonder if the instability will have an effect. This is a program that was pretty stable through the Dennis Dunn years.
Bachman inherits a talented team. Moving up to Class 2A will be a challenge with John Curtis and an improving Calvary team moving up with them.
Here's betting Evangel won't have a new coach next year.
