Hey batter, batter

Hard as it is to believe, we're just days away from the start of prep softball season and a couple of weeks away from prep baseball beginning.

We at The Times are looking for schedules. If you have a schedule for a prep baseball or softball team, then e-mail it to us at shreveportsports@gannett.com.


Captain Shreve won the state 4A baseball title last year and it will be interesting to see the Gators' effort to repeat.

On the softball side, we'll look to see if we have any teams break through this year.
