Early look to the polls

The state high school basketball polls will be released next week.

Here is what you've got to figure from our area. Huntington will likely be ranked in the Class 5A boys poll. Defending state champion Fair Park will appear in the Class 3A boys poll and an undefeated Zwolle team should be atop the boys Class B poll.

Where it could get interesting is in the Class 5A girls. West Monroe has one loss. Southwood has three losses, with one of those to West Monroe.

West Monroe may get the early nod, but which team would you fear meeting in the playoffs?
