A little self-control please

Parkway girls coach Aaron Megee may have cost his team a chance at winning the Doc Edwards title tonight.

Megee drew a pair of technical fouls -- that's four free throws, three of which Southwood made -- and his team lost by three points to Southwood.

It's understandable when coaches get upset over calls that they believe hinder their team or are just plain wrong.

But picking up technical fouls can be costly, not to mention the cost to your reputation when profanities can be heard in the arena.

It's probably not something Megee is proud of, particularly at a time when his team played so well.
