Hoops talk

I covered the Huntington-BTW game tonight and got to see those teams for the first time since summer league.

You've got to give Huntington a lot of credit. The Raiders not only won the game, but they are 16-2 on the season. And they haven't played with point guard Shamir Davis this season.

Huntington coach Mack Jones said he hopes to have Davis back playing after the first of the year. Davis has been dealing with an ankle injury.

Kendrick Washington opens things up for Huntington with his ability to play inside.

James Hulbin had a nice game for BTW. The Lions just didn't have enough firepower in this one.

All in all, these are two pretty good teams.
