Looking ahead to Friday night

It doesn't seem like a great schedule of games on Friday, but there are a few that catch my eye.

Captain Shreve and Ouachita is an interesting game in 5A. I'll be curious to see how Shreve comes out after finally beating Byrd last week. Will there be a letdown for the Gators?

Loyola is traveling to Springhill and Homer is coming to Evangel in a couple of 1-2A games that should be competitive for a little while.

It'll also be interesting to see what, if anything,Ruston can do with West Monroe.

And on Saturday, the Byrd-Huntington game is one worthy of watching as well.
