A name to remember

UCP will be in just its second season of Louisiana High School Athletic Association competition. So there isn't much known about the school's athletic teams.

But this summer, UCP has had a star of its own on the girls basketball team.

Artesia Edwards scored 37 of her team's 42 points tonight in a loss to Fair Park in the summer league.

Edwards has been a consistent scorer this summer and she'll be someone to remember in the winter.
