Coaching vacancies

Summer - at least on the school calendar around here - is nearing the halfway point and there are still some vacant coaching positions.

Byrd is apparently getting close to naming LSUS assistant Al Cantwell as its new baseball coach.

Northwood is closing in on naming a boys basketball coach and North DeSoto is looking for one as well.

There's been quite a bit of turnover this year and some of it is taking longer to shake out than in some past years.
