There has been a lot of chatter, but not much in the way of coaching hires -- yet.

The talk at Captain Shreve is that Todd Sharp will replace Ronnie Coker as the Gators' head baseball coach. That can't happen until the job is advertised and the interview process is conducted.

There is also a lot of talk that Al Cantwell will take over at Byrd. Cantwell's name was mentioned with that job a year ago.

Other head coaching vacancies which should be filled in the coming days include head basketball coaching positions at Southwood and Northwood.
