Collision course

Coaches don't like to look down the road in the playoffs.

So we'll do it.

It sure looks like a Calvary-Evangel matchup for the baseball title in Class 1A.

I say that because Calvary knocked off the No. 2 team in the state -- St. Edmund -- with relative ease (11-4) and Evangel did the same to the No. 3 team, St. Frederick (8-4).

Both are in opposite ends of the quarterfinal bracket.

It looks like the two will get to meet for the title again for the second straight year.
